Arrivederci to 2011! Raise your glass and ring in the New Year with Chef Jason Balestrieri for a festive and fun celebration of Italian food and wine. Chef Jason Balestrieri and team will prepare a selection of special offerings in addition to the full menu.
Pizza & Pasta Secrets Cooking Classes at Cantinetta Luca
Learn the secrets of making great pizza or handmade pasta from the experts at Cantinetta Luca. Participants will work in the kitchen of Cantinetta Luca directly with executive chef Jason Balestrieri as he teaches a variety of pizza and fresh pasta making techniques for easy use in the home kitchen.
Limited to 10 students, participants in the “Pizza Secrets Class” will learn about proper heat, making great dough, stretching and shaping pizza, different toppings to consider and other secrets for making one of the world’s favorite foods. “Pizza Secrets Classes” are scheduled for:

In the “Pasta Secrets Class” you will learn the simple “labor-of-love” techniques of making handmade pasta dough, rolling out the dough, cutting it into shapes, what sauces go best with different pasta shapes and how to cook perfect al dente pasta. “Pasta Secrets Classes” are scheduled for:

All the classes take place on Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The cost for either the “Pizza Secrets Class” or “Pasta Secrets Class” is $50 per person, per class (plus service fee and tax). Reservations are required and may be made by calling 831-625-6500.
